We are recruting for an HR Assistant for one of the largest producers of fresh cut tulips in the United States. This is an onsite and permanent role in King George, VA that starts at 630 am.

In this role, you will be supporting the HR department in a variety of duties:

• Manage the recruitment, hiring, orientation, and onboarding of hourly agricultural workers.
• Ensure compliance with special protection rules for agricultural workers.
• Conduct training and coaching sessions to develop and engage employees.
• Implement and monitor work policies and procedures.
• Provide onboarding for new employees.
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
• Nurture a positive working environment.
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English; native Spanish speaker preferred.
• Familiar with Fair Labor Standards Act in Agriculture (FLSA) and The Migrant and Seasonal Agriculture Workers Protection Act (MSPA)
• People-oriented and results-driven.
• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Able to start at 630 am.
