Are you a dynamic HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact? Our client is seeking a Bilingual Senior HR Generalist (Spanish and English) to support their Motley Operations teams. In this vital role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to management, delivering comprehensive HR support across all functional areas. Reporting to the Plant HR Manager, you’ll help drive a positive workplace culture by administering policies, procedures, and programs that support our people and operational goals. Job Title: Bilingual Senior HR Generalist

Location: Motley, MN

Pay Range: $28.50 to $38.00 per hour

What’s the Job?
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to operations teams by administering company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Collaborate with managers to assess staffing needs and develop accurate, effective job descriptions.
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and training, supporting management in performance monitoring aligned with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and complete employment-related documentation, including separation forms and exit interviews.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, provide guidance on benefits, and facilitate open enrollment meetings as needed.
  • Support leadership in resolving employee performance issues and assist supervisors with employee counseling and development.
  • Manage leave of absence requests and accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with ADA and involving appropriate teams or leadership when necessary.
  • Oversee the employee performance review process to ensure consistency, fairness, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Stay current on Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations, recommending updates to policies and procedures as needed.
  • Partner with plant leadership to ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies related to hiring, corrective actions, safety, FSQA, and other regulatory matters.
  • Deliver employee training programs as required to support workforce development and compliance.
  • Conduct or assist with workplace investigations, ensuring thorough and objective processes.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training and performing assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
  • Promptly report any environmental or safety incidents or potential risks to designated personnel, in alignment with environmental awareness and safety training protocols.
  • May assist with processing employee timecards, payroll reports, and Time Away from Work requests, as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support HR and operational goals.
What’s Needed?
  • Proficient in English and Spanish languages is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
  • SHRM CP or HRCI PHR Certified preferred
  • A minimum of five years’ experience working in one or more areas of Human Resources or a related area with at least two years’ experience with Employee Relations, Policy and Procedure administration, compliance, and/or related.
  • Generalist experience is preferred.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This role regularly requires standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Occasionally, the employee may be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear.
  • Must be able to lift and move:
  • Frequently: up to 5 pounds
  • Occasionally: up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision requirements include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings: drug screen and background
