Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Broadcast Engineer located in Cape Coral, FL. The Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing broadcast and production equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating equipment for live broadcasts, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. This role also involves collaborating with production teams to deliver the highest quality programming possible.

Qualifications

  • Experience with broadcast and production equipment maintenance and repair
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with broadcasting systems
  • Ability to set up, operate, and maintain broadcast equipment for live broadcasts
  • Knowledge of safety and engineering standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
  • Associates degree in related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • Certifications such as SBE, Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA are a plus
