Overview ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced full-time Building Inspector for a position located in Washington, DC. Duties of a Building Inspector Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Performing inspections for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure damage such as stained ceiling tiles, stained carpet, life safety issues, leaking flush valves, cracked windows, etc.; Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MAXIMO including service calls and requests for work authorizations to dispatch technicians responsible for maintaining the facility; Performing preventative maintenance inspections on building equipment following the instructions in the CMMS; Inspecting for functionality and operational condition of the building and assessing impacts to various building systems; and Entering service call tickets into the CMMS for any discrepancies/issues noted during inspections. This role involves working in secure environments in support of mission-critical operations. Required Qualifications for a Building Inspector Must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance; Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment; Minimum of five (5) years of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment maintenance, repair, and/or inspection experience; Must have experience inspecting government facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. This includes documenting findings in detailed reports and collaborating with staff and government officials to address issues and implement solutions effectively; Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Vocational training and/or skilled trade certification is a plus; Proficiency using MS Office (including MS Word and Excel) and experience with CMMS, preferably MAXIMO; and Effective communication skills (written and verbal), personal initiative, interpersonal skills, and a high regard for safety About ATI ATI, Inc.
