Job Description

The MSX project team is responsible for ensuring service bulletins are created in accordance to customer specifications and are published within the required lifecycle times Responsibilities include initiate, route for review, incorporate edits (annotations) track the service bulletin through the approval process and compose for final publication.

  • Initiate bulletins for review.
  • Complete base layout within two (2) to three (3) days and send to Product Engineer.
  • Include all available content.
  • Perform editing and technical writing for sake of clarity. Consult with reviewer/SME as necessary to ensure technical accuracy is not affected.
  • Representative photo(s)/visual(s): Initiate line art request(s) (completed art to be placed prior to publishing).
  • Route bulletins through the review and approval process and ensure the bulletin follows the correct workflow process.
  • Monitor the bulletin status to ensure it is staying within the assigned target lifecycle. Check on status of bulletins by using the Content Management System.
  • Follow up with the appropriate contact if a bulletin is stalled at a particular point.
  • Incorporate reviewer edits (annotations) as received.
  • Conduct a final review and publish the bulletins.
Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma
  • Intermediate know-how of MS Office suite, most importantly MS Word
  • Knowledge of industry standard desktop publishing and resources
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical writing or content development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to collaborate with their team.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and rule sets.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive communication
  • Focusing on costumer needs as it relates to the service
  • Commitment to on-time delivery
  • Accountability and flexibility
