If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience and excellent communication skills, we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns, as well as significant experience in preparing and filing these returns. What you'll bring Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws with 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax software. Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year in a professional setting, preferred. Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, spread over three or more days. Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred. Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is preferred. Must hold or be able to obtain relevant state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds. Must have an active PTIN. Knowledge of Circular 230. Proficiency with technology, including computer operations and software. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable internet connection meeting security standards. Must reside in the United States. How you will lead This is a virtual, customer-facing role utilizing our video software (Smartlook). Assist TurboTax Business customers with: Tax advice, full-service return preparation, product inquiries, tax calculations, and filing extensions. Create positive customer interactions demonstrating confidence and empathy. Use resources and team expertise to provide accurate answers. Follow procedures to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues. Document interactions and meet performance metrics. Participate in pilot projects and validations as needed.
