About the Role

The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their Advising and Career Development Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing career coaching to students and alumni, including career exploration, job search guidance, resume and portfolio review, mock interviews, and soft skill development. This role involves offering coaching services through individualized appointments, group counseling sessions, presentations, and workshops. The Career Coach will also assist with on-campus career fairs, assess student career aptitude, and help students and alumni in locating various employment and educational opportunities. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have an earned Bachelor's degree and prior work experience. The role requires the ability to work some evening and weekend hours and involves collaboration with academic advisors, deans, department heads, and faculty to meet the career development needs of students and alumni. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating and presenting workshops, and presentations, and will be committed to the mission of the Advising and Career Development Center. Responsibilities also include attending on-campus events, and meetings, and contributing to departmental and university programming initiatives.
