About Us:
Vertam Services & Community Pathway Group is dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities (DD) to achieve greater independence through employment, skill development, and community inclusion. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Job Coach to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Job Coach will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in workplace settings. This role focuses on teaching job skills, fostering independence, and ensuring individuals are successful in maintaining employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-the-job training and coaching tailored to individual needs.
Support individuals in developing workplace and social skills.
Communicate regularly with employers, families, and team members to support success.
Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services provided.
Ensure the health, safety, and dignity of all individuals supported.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and calendar management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Schedule:
Part-time; flexible hours depending on client needs.
May include some evenings or weekends.
Compensation:
$14.00 – $18.75 per hour, based on experience.
