As of today, Lew Thompson & Son Trucking, Inc. has over 230 trucks and 400 trailers.
We are involved in every step of the process for poultry production. We start by delivering the day-old poults from the hatchery to the farms. We then have feed delivery drivers that keep the birds fed as the farmers raise them. We also employ live haul drivers who transport the matured birds from the farm to the processing plant. Finally, we transport the finished product from the plant to grocery stores, distribution centers, and cold storage facilities by utilizing our reefer division. Think of all the transportation and planning involved in getting your Thanksgiving turkey from the farm to your table!
