Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

• Columbus, OH
• $67 – 96 per hour
• Consulting, possibly consult-to-hire

We are seeking a CFO consultant to oversee financial strategy, operations, and leadership. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance executive who thrives on optimizing financial performance and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long-term financial plans and risk management strategies
• Partner with executive leadership to drive business growth and profitability
• Lead cash flow management, capital planning, and investments
• Oversee financial teams and drive process improvements
• Lead financial strategy, planning, and decision-making
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFP preferred)
• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, with CFO or senior executive experience
• Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive financial performance
• Ability to lead variance analysis and reporting for key stakeholders
• Advanced in Excel and financial ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Experience with financial software (Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc.)

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
