How you'll contribute

  • Proficient in assessing patient conditions and making timely determinations of patient needs.
  • Implements leadership and team coordination by supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring smooth unit operations by providing direct support to all staff members.
  • Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Facilitate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards through engagement and support of PI and other initiatives.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

What we are looking for

  • Current Nevada State RN license
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
  • A minimum of (3) years RN experience in an acute hospital setting
