Role Description:

Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. This role is responsible for managing contracts administration and various aspects of risk and compliance within our customer agreements and sales contracts. That includes full oversight and management of contracts administration, related legal compliance and governance.

Your role:

• This person will be directly supporting the Chief Risk Officer in all aspects of compliance and review of our customer contracts, liaising with the Sales team on a regularly basis.
• Responsible for contracts administration and management of scaling capabilities as the business grows.
• Management of term agreements, build out of processes for renewals.
• Manage and own the contracts administration process and respond in a timely manner.
• Track all programs within the risk department and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in drafting agreements, editing and making recommendations for optimized contract negotiation.
• Experienced in utilizing a CPQ and CLM tool and management of contracts administration.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable with sales teams, negotiation and direct customer interaction.
• Experienced working in the legal department of a SaaS business is a plus.
• Prior experience working in compliance is a plus.
• Experience in Salesforce, DealHub, Docusign and contract lifecycle management software.
