We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team in Kettering, Ohio. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a critical part in supporting our legal operations, ensuring compliance, and enhancing organizational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the scientific instrument manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze legal documents, including contracts, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct detailed research on various legal issues to support decision-making.
• Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases for easy accessibility.
• Coordinate communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and file legal documents with local, state, and federal agencies or courts.
• Assist with discovery processes, fact investigations, and drafting legal documents.
• Monitor the progress of litigation claims and follow up with external counsel as needed.
• Review and track confidentiality agreements, corporate policies, and other legal documents.
• Draft correspondence, summaries, amendments, and ancillary legal documents.
• Support departmental initiatives by designing legal processes, creating contract templates, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of six years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate or litigation settings.
• Strong knowledge of discovery processes, civil litigation, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency in case management software and other legal technology tools.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing files, records, and databases.
• Ability to analyze complex legal documents and provide clear recommendations.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to drafting and reviewing legal documents.
