Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our Corporate Office in Arlington, TX. This is a dynamic role ideal for a seasoned legal professional with 8+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong legal knowledge, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle complex legal matters independently.

This role supports a wide range of legal functions including contract negotiation, intellectual property protection, compliance risk mitigation , and employment law , while ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and edit a wide range of legal documents and correspondence.
• Manage legal matters independently, escalating complex issues to senior staff or external counsel as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and provide actionable guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with corporate goals and risk tolerance.
• Support compliance efforts and risk mitigation strategies for high-risk legal matters.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and legal documentation.
• Enforce and protect company intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.
• Manage IP disputes (e.g., infringement claims, cease and desist letters, UDRPs).
• Provide legal support in areas such as product development, ecommerce, logistics, and facilities.
• Stay up to date on employment law and provide related legal support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support various departments including HR, IT, Finance, and Marketing.
• Perform additional legal duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Paralegal in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate (or equivalent legal education from an accredited institution).
• Strong background in corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and employment law.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
