*Summary*
Agri-Genesis is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver and Facility Support Specialist based in Columbia, Missouri. This dual-role position is responsible for transporting employees to and from our Macon cultivation facility and providing hands-on support within the facility during the workday. Candidates with handyman skills will receive preference, as minor maintenance and facility upkeep will be a regular part of this role.
*Responsibilities*
-Driving Responsibilities (AM & PM Transport)
-Pick up employees in Columbia at 5:45 AM sharp and transport them safely to our Macon facility.
-Depart Macon facility by 3:30 PM to return employees to Columbia for a 4:30 PM drop-off.
-Ensure vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and maintained in safe working condition.
-Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies regarding transport.
-Maintain accurate transportation logs and report any incidents immediately.
Facility Support Responsibilities (Between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
* Assist with general facility operations including cleaning, organizing, and basic labor support.
* Perform light handyman duties such as minor repairs, workspace assembly, touch-up painting, fixture installation, etc.
* Help with facility inspections, routine maintenance checks, or special projects as assigned.
* Follow company protocols for safety, compliance, and confidentiality at all times.
*Requirements*
* Valid Missouri driver’s license/CDL with clean driving record.
* Must be insurable under company’s vehicle insurance policy.
* Ability to safely drive early mornings and long-distance routes (approximately 2 hours round trip).
* Excellent time management and dependability.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
* Preferred: Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or light construction.
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* Must pass all required background checks in compliance with Missouri cannabis regulations.
* No special driver’s license or certification is required (CDL not necessary), but prior professional driving experience is a plus.
Schedule:
* Work Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
* Pick-Up Time (Columbia): 5:30 AM
* Drop-Off Time (Columbia): 4:30 PM
* On-Site Hours (Macon Facility): Approx. 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
