Flourish In is a premier events-based agency focused on designing face-to-face strategies for nonprofits and fostering authentic community engagement. We partner with mission-driven organizations to create impactful in-person experiences that inspire support, build awareness, and strengthen community connections.

We’re looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic Entry-Level Event Assistant to support our events team in planning and executing community-driven events for nonprofit clients. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference, excited to learn the ins and outs of event production, and ready to take the first step into the events and nonprofit space.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent nonprofit clients through face-to-face marketing at community events
• Engage with the public to raise awareness, educate, and inspire support for nonprofit missions
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute impactful events and outreach strategies
• Assist in setting up and tearing down event materials, booths, and signage
• Track and report campaign performance metrics to management
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients’ missions, goals, and current initiatives
• Contribute ideas to improve campaign effectiveness and community engagement
• Uphold a positive brand image on behalf of our clients at all times

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the marketing industry
• Passion for social causes, nonprofits, or community involvement
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to event sites
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
• MUST BE LOCAL AND ABLE TO REPORT TO OFFICE IN VIRGINIA BEACH
