We’re partnering with a global leader in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to find a Fleet Maintenance Manager to take ownership of their Indianapolis operation. This role is at the heart of keeping airports moving, ensuring vital equipment is maintained, reliable, and ready for action 24/7.

What You’ll Be Doing

• 🔧 Lead, coach, and inspire a skilled maintenance team
• 🛠 Oversee servicing and repair of a diverse GSE fleet — tugs, loaders, lifts, and more
• 🤲 Be hands-on where required, especially in the early stages, supporting the team directly and leading by example
• 📊 Take control of KPIs, costs, and performance improvements
• ✅ Drive compliance with OSHA, FAA, and airport standards
• 🚀 Introduce smarter processes to maximise uptime and efficiency
• 🤝 Collaborate with procurement and senior leadership on strategy and resource planning

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in GSE, fleet, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance management
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Proven leadership — hiring, training, mentoring, and managing teams
• A proactive problem-solver with strong organisational skills
• Comfortable making decisions in a high-pressure, safety-critical environment
• Capable of rolling up your sleeves and directly supporting the team when needed
