The Role at a Glance
Forklift Operator Responsibilities include operating forklifts primarily a reach truck as well as articulating forklifts, and occasionally cherry pickers. Operators will also have to handle heavy lifting (up to 200 lbs team carry), and ensure accurate documentation. How You'll Contribute You will be responsible for accurately, pulling, picking, locating/re-stocking, staging and verifying inventory. You will become an expert of and utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate and pull inventory. Maintaining precise documentation and ensuring accuracy in all warehouse transactions will be essential to your role. You'll interact regularly with warehouse supervisors, operations staff, customer service teams, vendors, drivers and customers In addition to handling inventory, you'll help maintain a clean, safe warehouse by keeping inventory organized and clean and keeping aisles and floorspaces well swept. You'll also be responsible for general upkeep of the facility and surrounding grounds. This role requires the ability to lift and carry between 50-100 lbs, and up to 200 lbs with team support. You must be available to work Saturdays as needed.
