AWS Clean Rooms is a recently launched analytics service that helps customers and their partners more easily and securely analyze their combined datasetswithout sharing or revealing underlying data with each other.

We're looking for a front-end engineer to join AWS Clean Rooms to build secure, scalable solutions that delight customers. You'll work at the intersection of cloud analytics, privacy, and security, to provide customers with a broad set of data controls that help protect sensitive data, including query controls, query output restrictions, query logging, and cryptographic computing tools.

The ideal candidate should have experience with building scalable front ends using React. We build on top of a foundational design system to deliver a user interface that delights our customers. This is a great opportunity to build at AWS scale!

Key job responsibilities

  • Be a domain expert in the front-end space owning front-end feature implementation across the full-lifecycle of software development including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and UX stakeholders to influence and design complete experiences that will delight our customers.

  • Provide bar-raising feedback to ensure that features delivered in the organization fit into the product vision and are well-designed, scalable and customer obsessed.

  • Mentor junior engineers on the team

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

  • 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience

  • Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, XSD, and REST

  • Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
