Urgent Requirement

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Google Cloud Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud network infrastructure. The engineer will work on building secure, scalable, and optimized GCP networking solutions while supporting mission-critical cloud data platforms and applications.

This role requires strong experience with Google Cloud networking , cloud infrastructure operations, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

• Design, configure, and manage GCP networking services including:

  • VPCs, subnets, routing tables

  • Firewall rules, security controls

  • Load balancers (internal/external)

  • Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Cloud Router

  • Cloud VPN and Interconnect for hybrid connectivity

• Optimize and monitor GCP network performance and traffic flows.

• Troubleshoot network issues across cloud, data platform, and on-prem components.

• Ensure network resiliency, scalability, and secure access across all environments.

• Manage and administer GCP compute resources, virtual machines, and containers.

• Implement and maintain network infrastructure for cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or similar IaC tools.

• Support cloud monitoring, alerting, and observability across networking services.

• Collaborate with cloud, security, and data engineering teams to integrate network solutions.

• Build CI/CD-friendly infrastructure supporting automated deployments.

• Implement repeatable automation for network and cloud infrastructure operations.

• Support performance tuning, cost optimization, and configuration standardization.

• Work closely with architects, data platform engineers, and application teams.

• Communicate technical solutions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

• Participate in design reviews, security assessments, and incident response.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) network administration.

• Deep knowledge of:

  • VPC networking and segmentation

  • Firewalls, routing, load balancing, DNS

  • VPN, Interconnect, hybrid cloud architectures

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native networking.

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

• Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud network and connectivity issues.

• Programming/scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Experience with secure cloud network design & compliance frameworks.

• Exposure to cloud data platform networking requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, enterprise environments.

A senior-level engineer who excels in cloud networking on GCP, understands modern cloud data platform connectivity, and can design secure, scalable infrastructure while collaborating seamlessly across cloud, data, and DevOps teams.
