Healthcare Call Center Representative - Laboratory Express
$26-28/hour | Full-time | Entry Level | Training Provided
About the Role
Laboratory Express is hiring Healthcare Call Center Representatives to handle inbound calls from healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies. Perfect opportunity for experienced call center professionals to advance into the stable healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls regarding laboratory test scheduling, results, and billing
• Assist healthcare providers with test ordering and specimen collection coordination
• Handle patient inquiries about test preparation, results, and insurance coverage
• Process insurance authorizations and verify patient benefits
• Enter patient information and test orders into laboratory computer systems
• Resolve billing questions and payment processing issues
• Escalate complex medical or technical questions to appropriate laboratory staff
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous call center or customer service experience strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone manner
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
• Patience and problem-solving abilities for challenging customer situations
• No healthcare experience required - comprehensive medical terminology and laboratory procedures training provided!
