Brewster Cheese, the country's largest Swiss Cheese manufacturer, is seeking High Pressure Boiler Operator to join our team in Brewster, Ohio.

High Pressure Boiler Operator – Brewster

A high-pressure license is preferred. Persons with a high-pressure class certificate are encouraged to apply. You will be a full-time employee while you accumulate required operating hours for certification. After you receive your high pressure license you will be considered for a permanent position.

Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain boilers and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Observe the boiler's operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure it performs at its best
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on boilers
• Troubleshoot and repair boiler malfunctions or breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of boiler operations and maintenance procedures
• Ability to fabricate, install, and repair boiler components
• Proficient in analyzing boiler performance data and make adjustments as needed
• Familiarity with low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients and addressing their concerns
• Experience in field service or industrial electrician roles is preferred
• One year of boiler experience is a required

Wage and Benefits

• Starting rate is $29 an hour, rate is negotiable based on skill level
• Shift differential for the afternoon shift $1 per hour and for the midnight shift .75 per hour

• Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability available at 90 days of employment.

Schedule: Full-Time on afternoon or midnight shift
