Calling all CREATIVE, concept generating, computer rendering guru's looking for an exciting new career opportunity. Whether you are fresh out of school or looking for a new challenge, we are looking for creative individuals to join our design team in the west suburbs of Chicago.
Core Design Group is currently looking for entry / mid / senior level exhibit & event designers. Our ideal candidate would be a talented, well-rounded, versatile 3D / exhibit designer looking to join a fast paced and collaborative design environment.
We take our clients and their deadlines very seriously...just not ourselves. Views of the neighboring forest preserve, Herman Miller desks, Aeron chairs, MainGear workstations, nerfs, legos and POP characters are par for course in our open studio environment.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Looking for a full-time opportunity - Please do not submit freelance design services.
- Chicago Area resident or planning to be.
- Experience - We are looking for both Jr. & Sr. Level designers.
- Design Degree - Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Interior, Architecture or related 3D Design degrees.
- Professional / Client Service skills – Service is paramount to our clients and to our team environment.
- Strong 3D computer modeling / rendering skills and a willingness to learn new rendering programs.
- Ability to adapt quickly, while taking direction in a deadline orientated environment.
- Capable of working in a team collaborative design process, yet possess the self motivation & time management skills to run your own projects within deadlines.
- Strong conceptual sketching, space-planning, and floor plan design skills.
- Proficiency on a PC.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop a must & a general knowledge of Illustrator.
- 3D Computer modeling / rendering experience required (portfolio examples).
- 3D Computer modeling / rendering experience in AutoDesk 3D MAX a plus.
- 3D Computer modeling / rendering experience in Bentley Microstation (not required, but a HUGE plus).
Compensation will be based on portfolio examples and exhibit industry experience. Our Studio is located in Warrenville, IL. (Just North of Naperville, off I-88). Full-time employees receive salary, medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, remote work 1 day a week, and 401k.
