Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our growing Employment Law team on a full-time, in-office basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with seasoned attorneys, where attention to detail and initiative are highly valued. Remote work is not available for this position.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of paralegal/legal assistant experience in employment law litigation preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and prioritize workload
Self-motivated, able to work independently while also being a strong team player
Responsibilities:
Preparing, formatting, and filing documents with state and federal courts
Managing attorneys’ calendars and scheduling deadlines, hearings, and depositions
Drafting legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and deposition summaries
Conducting legal research and summarizing findings
Organizing, maintaining, and archiving case files for ongoing and completed matters
Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure efficient case management
