Life Skills Coach – Part-Time to Full-Time

Pay: $23.50 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Flexible (10–40 hours/week)

What You’ll Do

As a Life Skills Coach (LSC) , you’ll spend your time out in the community —not stuck behind a desk. You’ll walk alongside clients where they live, work, and socialize, helping them build confidence and independence in their daily lives.

You’ll serve as:

• A Partner – helping individuals lead independent, self-directed lives.
• A Teacher – using creativity to teach skills like cooking, budgeting, and communication.
• An Ambassador – fostering inclusion by connecting clients to their communities.
• An Advocate – supporting individuals in making choices and standing up for their rights
• A Supporter – encouraging personal goals and celebrating every milestone.

You don’t make decisions for our clients—you empower them to make their own, with support from families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and dependable
• Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (preferred, not required)
• At least 21 years old
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and full insurance coverage
• Acceptable driving record (no DUIs)
