WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Travelers can earn up to $2,960 per week for this role.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 5x8: 9am - 5:30pm.
\n

• Accurately and thoroughly documents all care information in the facility’s EMR in a timely manner.

  \n
\n

• Prepares the operating room for procedures and assists in room breakdown post-operation.

  \n
\n

• Assists with patient positioning and ensures patient comfort and safety.

  \n
\n

• Handles specimens with care and accuracy.

  \n
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

  \n
\n

• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.

  \n
\n

• 3 full years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.

  \n
\n

• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.

  \n
\n

• Trauma experience is required.

  \n
\n

\n
