Millenia Medical Staffing is a Joint Commission Certified Company, has Nationwide openings for License Practical Nurses to work with our Government and Correctional Facilities. Interested LPN's are invited to send their resumes immediately for review and telephone interview.

Responsibilities and duties are (but not limited to): proven successful interactions with correctional patients; positive attitude; strong work ethic; excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with staff to implement care coordination programs.

Minimum Qualifications of the LPN

Currently LPN's with a compact or single state license. Minimum of 1 years recent, direct patient care and medical record documentation. Clients prefer recent Correctional experience.

Special consideration given for past experience in federal facilities such as VAMC, Indian Health Services, Federal Bureau of Prisons, ICE, DOD or other Federal Agencies

Active Compact License

1 year’s experience recent/past experience in Corrections

One to Three Month contracts

36 to 48 hour schedule per week

*Summary*

As a Corrections Nurse LPN, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care within a corrections facility medical clinic. Reporting to the facility's medical director, you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and catheterization to ensure the health and well-being of inmates. Your organizational skills will be essential for documentation review and maintaining EHR systems. With a focus on corrections experience, you will contribute to a safe and effective healthcare environment, addressing both immediate medical needs and long-term care plans for the inmate population.
