* This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience (veterans with a Maintenance & repair background required) *

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for an M&R Manager, preferably based out of Baltimore MD (will oversee two facilities, Baltimore MD and Philadelphia PA – 50% weekly travel required between locations.)

Compensation: $90,000-100,000 + 10% target bonus

What You Will Do :

Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities, managing a team of 3 to 5 employees.

  • Inspect chassis, write work orders at specified facilities.
  • Monitor and control M&R costs for chassis, and OOS equipment levels (to include Repair Estimate Approval and Repair Limit Compliance.)
  • Regularly communicate with logistics department regarding equipment requirements.
  • Update chassis OOS status and notes as needed in M&R System.
  • Conduct visits to specified locations to ensure that all M&R issues are addressed, and that company policies are enforced. Provide detailed written reports of any problems to the Manager.
  • Ensure company inspection/repair standards are communicated to vendors and adhered to on all equipment repairs.
  • Assist locations in continuously investigating ways and means to reduce overall M&R costs while ensuring service levels are not compromised.
  • Monitor and control spare parts inventory levels of company owned parts.
  • Review work order input in M&R system on a daily basis and transmit work orders daily; discuss and resolve work order input discrepancy with M&R vendors.
  • Perform monthly safety review; conduct shop site audits for all responsible locations.

Education and Work Experience:

  • At least 4 years U.S. Military experience required ; specifically looking for military veterans with a MAINTENANCE background
  • 5-10 years experience in maintenance and repair , thorough knowledge (3-5 years) of chassis or trailer repair required.
  • Will be required to pass a full federal background check (including drug screen [no CBD. ]) MVR screening also required; no DUIs within past 3 years.
  • 50% weekly travel (flexible work schedule for potential weekend work, as required.)
