**About the Role****Materials Associate** to join our dynamic team and support freight scheduling, inventory tracking, receiving, and related logistics activities. This is a great opportunity to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in our fast-paced distribution environment.**What Youll Do**Youll provide key administrative and clerical support to our distribution team, helping ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent coordination across logistics functions. Your responsibilities will include:* **Freight Scheduling & Traffic Coordination** + Schedule inbound/outbound freight shipments + Verify freight rates and assist with freight payments* **Inventory & Receiving Support** + Enter and verify receiving transactions + Assist with physical inventory and audits + Maintain accurate documentation and data records* **Shipping Documentation** + Prepare Bills of Lading and export paperwork + Ensure compliance with shipping standards* **Clerical & Administrative Tasks** + Maintain ISO 9001 documentation + Support distribution training and employee activities + Accurately input and manage data in internal systems (MRP, barcode, mainframe)**What Were Looking For*** **Education & Experience** + Associates degree or equivalent (preferred) + 2+ years of related experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain + OR an equivalent combination of education and experience* **Technical Skills** + Comfortable with data entry, Microsoft Office, MRP systems, and barcode technology + Familiar with warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving processes* **Soft Skills** + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills + Strong written and verbal communication + Able to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-moving environment**Safety & Environmental Commitment**We believe safety is everyone's responsibility.
