This part-time position offers flexible afternoon, evening, and/or weekend shifts, allowing you to make a positive impact on students' lives while maintaining a work-life balance. Join our team and help shape the future of learning!Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students of various ages and academic levels.- Deliver personalized lessons tailored to each student's unique learning needs.- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions, engage in discussions, and develop critical thinking skills.- Track and monitor students' progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.- Collaborate with other team members to ensure students' academic success.- Stay updated on current educational practices and utilize innovative teaching techniques to enhance students' learning experience.- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student attendance, and academic achievements.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Math Education, Mathematics, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject area(s) you will be tutoring.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed.- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.- Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a love for learning.- Flexibility to work afternoon, evening, and/or weekend shifts based on students' availability.Note: As an equal opportunity employer, Learning Haven LLC adheres to all state and federal regulations regarding hiring practices.
