We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support our physicians by providing patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and helping maintain an organized and efficient healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking medical histories, measuring vital signs, and documenting information in the electronic medical records system
  • Assist physicians during exams and procedures
  • Perform X-rays as ordered by physicians
  • Dispensing durable medical equipment including instructing patients on proper use of items and completing appropriate paperwork
  • Collect and prepare lab specimens for transport and maintain proper documentation
  • Handle patient inquiries, providing education on treatment plans and instructions, including entering proper documentation
  • Sterilize all equipment according to guidelines and cleaning treatment rooms to maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Ordering and stocking inventory as necessary

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred
  • At least one year of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting is required
  • Proficiency with medical office equipment and basic clinic procedures
  • Knowledge of general medical terms and healthcare guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to abide by OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
