Truss Design Manager – Lead with Purpose in Sunnyvale, TX

Salary: Up to $160,000 + Benefits + Relocation Support

Location: Sunnyvale, TX (On-Site, Modern Office Environment)

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday–Friday Schedule

What You’ll Lead

• A blended team of in-office and remote truss designers
• Scheduling and workflow to align with production and customer demand
• Ongoing training and mentorship to build internal talent
• Design reviews to ensure code compliance and structural excellence
• Coordination with manufacturing to deliver on time, every time
• Customer-facing design issue resolution with a proactive mindset
• Process innovation to drive quality and efficiency across the department
• Provide oversight and support for truss estimating activities, including guiding the truss estimation team and contributing to design tasks as needed.

What You Bring

• 5+ years using MiTek design software
• 2+ years in a leadership or management role
• Expertise in both single-family and multifamily truss design
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
• Organized, detail-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and team-building skills
