Job Summary:
We are seeking a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team. The NEMT driver is responsible for safely transporting customers to and from medical appointments, procedures, or treatments. The ideal candidate should be professional, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Transport customers to and from medical appointments, procedures, or treatments in a safe and comfortable manner
Provide assistance to customers, including help with boarding and disembarking, as well as providing any necessary accommodations for equipments
Follow all transportation guidelines and protocols, including traffic laws, customer care protocols, and company policies and procedures
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, and perform regular vehicle maintenance to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle
Communicate effectively with customers to ensure that all transportation needs are met
Keep accurate records of all customer transportation, including pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, and any customer notes or updates
Provide excellent customer service to customers and medical professionals at all times, while maintaining customer confidentiality
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license from State of Colorado with a clean driving record
Must pass a criminal and drug test
Drivers should have 3 years of experience. With out 3 years of experience, the minimum driving age should be at least 23
Completion of company’s NEMT driver training program
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Professional, courteous, and compassionate attitude
Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends
