The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the Cardiology department provides inpatient care at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, collaborating with cardiologists to manage urgent and emergent cardiac cases. Responsibilities include patient histories, physical exams, daily rounds, consultations, admissions, and discharges within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This per diem position requires NYS licensure, board certification, and cardiology or critical care experience.

The Heart Center is seeking a per diem board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established and growing Cardiology Practice (Hudson Valley Cardiovascular Practice, PC). This inpatient position is based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. This is an excellent employed opportunity at a large community hospital in a beautiful suburban NY location.
Job Highlights:
- Provide care for a high volume, fast paced inpatient Cardiology service in collaboration with an outstanding team of cardiologists
- Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
- Provide coverage for urgent and emergent matters
- Performs daily patient rounds

Qualifications:
- NYS License and Board Certification
- Cardiology and/or critical care experience required
