Who we are:
Child & Family Healing Center provides 24- hour intensive residential treatment on UMFS’s staff-secure, unlocked 33-acre campus. Our multidisciplinary team integrates Collaborative Problem Solving™ with family engagement, psychiatry, nursing, verbal and non-verbal therapies, social work, and counseling.
What we do:
We collaborate with communities in a Systems of Care approach to ensure successful transition into residential treatment, through intervention, and back into the community.
We assess strengths and executive functioning to develop treatment goals for youth and families.
Who We Serve:
We serve males, females, and gender-diverse youth ages 11-17 at time of admission, who are in the custody of their parent/guardian, the Department of Social Services, or the Department of Juvenile Justice, and have a minimum IQ of 65 (evaluated on a case-by-case basis).

Mood and anxiety disorders
Emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
Autism and other neurological differences
Problem sexual behaviors
What we are looking for:
A Lead Nurse to provide for comprehensive holistic health care and medical service delivery for youth served. Ensure compliance with licensing standards, Medicaid regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policies and procedures. Provides leadership and supervision to nursing and medication management team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises all nursing staff.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responsible for ensuring supervisees follow agency policy and licensure regulations in meeting regular deadlines for all documentation.
Maintain supervision meeting documentation.
What you will need:
Registered Nurse in Virginia with Board Certification. Psychiatric or sensitive-treatment experience with children/adolescents required. Training in pharmacology required and certification as a medication technician trainer to be obtained while on the job if not obtained already. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
