Location Personnel Programs Division, AFNWC Manpower, Personnel, and Workforce Development Directorate, Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities Provides technical input as appropriate, identifying and resolving complex developmental, education, and training problems and/or requirements. Provides consultation services to AFNWC managers to determine training needs assessments and gap analysis. Serves as an advisor, supporting the Center Senior Functionals with duties established in AFMCI 36-2645. Provides overarching personnel program management and policy oversight for assigned developmental programs, including the Center's Force Renewal at all locations. Implements procedures and maintains information on the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) for AFNWC. Follows policies and procedures for accomplishment of the AFNWC professional development program. Provides program management/oversight for the onboarding program and New Employee program. Uses knowledge and understanding of AF rules, regulations, and procedures governing a variety of topics to identify and resolve technical, organizational, operational, and administrative issues affecting the organization. Qualifications U.S. citizenship required. Must be of legal working age. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
