Job Description
🐾 Join The Peaks Pet Nanny – Make a Difference for Pets and Their People!
At The Peaks Pet Nanny , we’ve been helping pets (and their humans!) since 2004 — and we’ve loved every minute of it. With a team of about 55 dedicated Pet Nannies, we’ve proudly helped nearly 4,000 families across Northern New Jersey. We’re the largest and most reliable privately owned pet sitting company in the area, and our team culture is what sets us apart.
If you’re passionate about animals, enjoy being outdoors, and want meaningful, flexible work, this is your chance to join a close-knit, award-winning team and make a real difference every day.
🌟 What We OfferWe take care of all the behind-the-scenes work so you can focus on what really matters — caring for pets and enjoying the fresh air.
Team Culture You’ll Love: We treat our Pet Nannies with the same care and respect we show our clients.
Comprehensive Training: Learn our tried-and-true procedures and industry-best policies.
Marketing & Office Support: We handle scheduling, billing, customer service, and marketing (SEO, social media, referrals) so you don’t have to.
Coverage & Protection: Liability insurance and honesty bonding provided.
Easy Scheduling: View and manage your schedule in our online system.
Prompt Payments: Bi-monthly payments for all completed visits & gratuities.
Long-Term Community: Many of our Pet Nannies have been with us for over a decade.
Dog Walking: Monday–Friday midday walks that make pups’ tails wag.
Occasional Pet Sitting: Morning, midday, dinner, and bedtime visits in clients’ homes.
Overnights (Optional): Sleepover visits to keep pets cozy and cared for.
Weekends & Holidays: Earn extra pay while helping pet parents enjoy their time away worry-free.
Every visit you complete makes a difference — not only for a pet who’s waiting for care, but for the busy pet parent counting on you. You’ll be their peace of mind, their extra set of hands, and the person who keeps tails wagging and whiskers happy while they’re away.
This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful.
