Dizario Search is currently supporting a search for a Plant Manager based in Clinton County, PA. Our client is a well-established and highly respected chemical manufacturer seeking an experienced leader to oversee and elevate all aspects of their plant operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in process safety management (PSM)-regulated environments and a proven ability to drive performance through people, systems, and strategy. Plant Manager Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction across all areas of the plant, including production, quality, safety (EHS), supply chain, and maintenance.
• Lead environmental health and safety initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a strong safety culture.
• Drive performance across key metrics including cost, quality, service, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop department managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Champion lean manufacturing principles and implement initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly those related to PSM and chemical manufacturing.
• Collaborate with leadership to define and implement long-term strategic plans.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, production planning, and capital project execution.

Plant Manager Qualifications:

• 10+ years of multi-functional manufacturing operations experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing environment .
• Strong understanding of financial management and strategic planning in a plant setting.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
