Job Description

Salary: $64,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a PLC Programmer, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Proficient with PLC programming software such as Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Siemens
  • Familiarity with HMI design and development tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate within a team and liaise with different departments
  • Understanding of industrial processes, machinery, and control systems
  • Willingness to travel to various project locations as required
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and workplace rules
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using various programming languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block
  • Design, create, and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems in conjunction with PLC operations
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement effective control systems
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in PLC and HMI software to optimize system performance
  • Sustain and modify existing systems while providing post-implementation support
  • Interpret control system and HMI specifications and plans
  • Ensure all automated systems adhere to industry safety standards
  • Work alongside team members and other departments on project development initiatives
  • Document and update PLC and HMI program revisions
  • Train and assist technical personnel and operators on system usage and troubleshooting techniques
