PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:

PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Employees will work at both our Crisis Stabilization Unit and our Acute Treatment Unit. Both units house adult clients.

• Conduct in-depth psychiatric assessments and evaluations for children, youth, and adults experiencing mental health challenges ensuring they receive compassionate and comprehensive care
• Evaluate and refer clients with various medical conditions, working together with their primary care doctors to maintain seamless continuity of care that prioritizes our clients’ health
• Monitor clients' medications, proactively identifying and addressing any side effects or adverse reactions, enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life
• Provide clear informative education about medications to clients, ensuring they grasp their treatment plans. Where possible, offer written materials to reinforce their understanding and support their journey
• Provide consultations, education, and coordination of services to community agencies and citizens to build relationships within our community
• Assist fellow psychiatrists with coverage when they are unavailable or deliver on-call psychiatric support after hours to ensure consistent, accessible care
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation promptly and accurately, upholding the highest standards in our practice.
• Collaborate as an essential member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, inspiring each other to enhance client outcomes
• Participate in client staffing and treatment review meetings
• Adhere closely to AllHealth Network policies and procedures, ensuring a uniform and professional approach in everything we do
• Embrace additional responsibilities as needed, utilizing your unique experience and skills to create a positive impact on our clients' lives. Together, we can make a difference!

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited one-year internship
• Graduate of an ACGME-accredited three-year psychiatric residency program
• Proof of current Colorado medical license required
• Must be eligible for Medicaid certification and insurance credentialing

OR

• Education
• Master’s Degree (MSN/MS)
• Licensed in the State of Colorado as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN)

PRN Rates/Shift:

FNP: $70 an hour

PMHNP: $82 an hour

MD: $150 an hour

Ability to choose shift you would like to work, which usually occur between Monday - Sunday 8AM -8PM

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
