Pulmonary Disease Officer

U.S. Army Medical Corps

In this vital role, you will provide expert care to Soldiers and their families suffering from respiratory conditions, assess their health status, and deliver comprehensive treatment and therapy in intensive care units. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
  • Must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or U.S. territories.
  • Eligible for board certification.
  • Completion of at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship.
  • Meet criteria to be appointed as a commissioned officer in the military.
  • Permanent U.S. residency required.
