Role: Scrum Master
Contract Length: 12 Months (with the intention to convert to FTE)
Location: Lenexa, KS – Hybrid (flexible on in-office days)

We’re looking for a Scrum Master who can lead cross-functional teams in delivering Agile-based product solutions with a focus on alignment, transparency, and speed to value. You’ll play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching teams to improve efficiency, and helping the organization get the most out of its Agile practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between product owners, team members, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Remove roadblocks and support teams in adhering to Scrum best practices
  • Act as an Agile Coach to help teams improve performance and self-organization
  • Execute and gather performance data (via Python scripts) to support KPIs
  • Manage and report on release budgets, timelines, and progress
  • Support team building and Agile transformation activities
  • Provide input and guidance around Agile/SDLC processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with proven experience driving Agile maturity
  • Experience with SDLC from an Agile perspective
  • Previous development background strongly preferred (3 out of 4 team members transitioned from development to Agile roles)
  • Project Management skills (about 5 years of experience preferred)
  • Comfort running KPI reports using Python scripts (manual reporting not required)
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud is a nice-to-have
  • No experience with payments or education systems needed

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule with flexibility – some weeks fully remote, others with 1–2 days in-office depending on the team
  • Agile ceremonies begin daily at 8:00 AM CT
  • First day on-site to pick up equipment; majority of work is remote
  • You'll receive a structured onboarding training guide with weekly updates and a tracker
