As a Security Guard Unarmed Mall Patrols in Redmond, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. This is a driving post, and you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also interact with visitors, tenants, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming atmosphere. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or conditions encountered during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required, including meeting Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements and holding a Class B license with Passenger Endorsement for applicable driving positions.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
