As a Security Officer Resort Patrol Unarmed in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for guests, staff, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service while addressing security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This dynamic position requires you to be observant, approachable, and ready to adapt to changing circumstances. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity within the hotel and resort to assist in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff according to established procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Collaborate with hotel and resort management and local law enforcement as directed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
