Security Officers needed for evenings and weekends
Are you interested earning some extra income? Do you like college football games, basketball games and other activities? Then these special event officers could be perfect for you.
We are hiring part time officers for event staff to assist with security at local university events, paying $18 hourly rate . Most of the events are either in the evenings or between Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday days and evenings, so this would be a great opportunity to gain some part time income.
If interested you must have, or be able to get, your DCJS unarmed security license. You can look on the DCJS website, Division of Licensure and Regulatory Services | Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services , to see the qualifications for getting an unarmed security license.
Duties:
You would be assigned a gate entrance or area of the event to be a positive security figure.
You would be responsible to check ID's, tickets, bags, etc. upon entry to ensure no weapons or alcohol is being brought in.
You would be responsible for patrolling the area you are assigned always being a visible security presence.
You must always be alert and attentive to your area and duties assigned to you.
