Job Description: As a Security Professional - Unarmed Residential Site in Union City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in providing a secure and welcoming environment for a residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns or situations that may arise. You will interact with residents and guests, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a positive atmosphere. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Schedule: Thur 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sat 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential community. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and along the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management to support a secure environment. Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site protocols. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on duty. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
