Senior Construction Project Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on energy projects.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers.
- Ensure the team meets project performance standards and timelines.
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all work complies with specifications, codes, and client expectations.
Client & Subcontractor Relations:
- Manage relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Handle communication, progress reporting, and dispute resolution effectively.
Financial Management:
- Analyze budgets and contribute to cost estimates.
- Prepare proposals and initiate project recovery planning when necessary.
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure project controls, documentation, and operations align with company standards.
- Manage procurement and field operations, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Capability to drive projects from concept to completion while ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
