Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with a background in general contracting or owner’s representation to lead the successful delivery of complex tenant improvement (TI), interior renovation, and remodel projects for a top tier client of ours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing construction projects for clients in the commercial real estate, manufacturing, and light industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and quality control measures
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and change management processes
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and building code requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve issues that may impact timelines or client satisfaction
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and project coordinators

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management with a focus on commercial tenant improvements and interior build-outs
  • Background in general contracting or owner’s representative roles is required
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate construction processes and terminology
  • Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing and/or light industrial facility projects is preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
