Senior Air Scientist
Position Overview The Senior Air Scientist will lead research and analysis related to air quality and environmental monitoring, ensuring compliance with regulations and advancing our understanding of atmospheric conditions. This position involves overseeing air sampling projects, data collection, and instrumentation calibration to provide accurate assessments of air quality metrics. The Sr. Air Scientist will lead a team of junior and mid-level scientists.
Key Responsibilities - Lead air sampling projects and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Conduct data collection and analysis related to air quality measurements.
- Calibrate and maintain instrumentation used in air quality monitoring.
- Develop and implement research methodologies to assess atmospheric conditions.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to environmental policies.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations on air quality findings for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in air quality research or environmental monitoring.
- Proficient in air sampling techniques and data analysis.
- Experience with instrumentation calibration and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and air quality standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
