Job Description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Staging Designer to join our team, specializing in staging luxury residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, deep understanding of high-end furnishings, and the ability to create elevated, market-ready spaces that resonate with discerning buyers. You will work closely with the creative and operations teams to plan, execute, and oversee installations from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute staging concepts tailored to each property’s architecture, layout, and target buyer demographic.
  • Source, select, and coordinate high-end furniture, artwork, textiles, lighting, and accessories from the company’s inventory or approved vendors.
  • Conduct site visits and collaborate with sales and project managers to assess staging needs and develop floor plans.
  • Prepare mood boards, space plans, and visual presentations for client and internal review.
  • Supervise on-site installations and styling to ensure polished, cohesive, and luxurious results.
  • Maintain quality control of furniture, accessories, and overall presentation during installation and de-staging.
  • Manage project timelines and staging budgets in coordination with the operations team.
  • Stay current on design trends, staging best practices, and competitive real estate markets.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior designers or assistants, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in residential staging or interior design, with a focus on luxury properties.
  • Strong knowledge of high-end furnishings, art, and design styles (modern, transitional, contemporary, etc.).
  • Proficiency in space planning and design presentation tools (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Canva).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift and move light furniture and accessories during installations.
